Katy Trail and Rock Island Trail Shuttle Pricing for 2026 Season

Shuttle service prices based on shuttles to/from Clinton and the locations listed below. We schedule according to time and location that YOU DETERMINE, not according to a set shuttle schedule.

Shuttle Pricing to Clinton:

  • St. Charles. In-season (May, June, September, October) with 8:00 AM departure – $140 per person.
  • St. Charles. Off-season or shuttle any time of the year with departure other than 8:00 AM. $140 per person, minimum $440.
  • Washington. $140 per person, minimum $420.
  • Hermann. $120 per person, minimum $360.
  • Columbia or Jefferson City. $80 per person, minimum $240.
  • Boonville or Rocheport. $70 per person, minimum $220.
  • Warrensburg. $40 per person, minimum $100.
  • Sedalia or Pleasant Hill. $40 per person, minimum $120.
  • Lee’s Summit. $50 per person, minimum $150.
  • Windsor. $20 per person, minimum $60.
  • Clifton City. $50 per person, minimum $150.
  • Pilot Grove. $60 per person, minimum $170.
  • Union Station, KC. $75 per person, minimum $175.
  • MCI (KC) or Springfield, MO Airport. $75 per person, minimum $200.

Shuttle Pricing to Pleasant Hill:

  • St. Charles. $160 per person, minimum $480.
  • Pleasant Hill to Windsor or Windsor to Pleasant Hill. $50 per person, minimum $150.

Included in the shuttle price is one two-wheeled bike per passenger. Bikes are carried in an enclosed trailer. If you have something other than a standard two-wheel bike or e-bike (recumbent, trike, tadpole, tandem) call us ahead of time so that we can make accommodations.

Vehicle transport. Would you rather meet your car, truck or van at the end of your ride? We can deliver your vehicle to your destination so that it will be waiting for you when you arrive. Simply load up and go!

Clinton to St. Charles. Leave your vehicle with us in Clinton and we’ll have it waiting for you in St. Charles per your schedule. — $400.

The drive from Clinton to St. Charles is about 4 hours via the very busy I-70 corridor. Our drivers are safe, courteous and conscientious. Let us do the driving for you!

Parking in St. Charles is in the long-term parking lot at Frontier Park. You will most likely see your car as you ride into the park. The lot is lighted and patrolled.

Parking in Clinton is at the Clinton community center, about a quarter mile from the Clinton trailhead. The lot is lighted with good visibility. The community center requires that you register your vehicle with them, which is free. They like to have a record of who is parked in their lot as they monitor the lot for safety.

Katy Trail and Rock Island Trail Amtrak Options

Amtrak. The closest station to St. Charles is in Kirkwood, Missouri, but St. Louis, Missouri, and Alton, Illinois are also options. Washington, Missouri is another option farther west and it is just a few miles from the Katy Trail trailhead of Dutzow.

The closest station to Clinton is the Warrensburg, Missouri station. There is also a station in Sedalia, through which the Katy Trail runs.

If looking to start the Rock Island Trail in Pleasant Hill, Missouri, the closest station is Lee’s Summit.

Important: You must plan ahead to ride Amtrak with your bike. Typically each train will only allow four bikes. When you buy your ticket, you must indicate if you are bringing a bike. Once all the bike slots are taken, you won’t be able to board with your bike. Also, be mindful that Amtrak may cancel service due to unforeseen mechanical or other issues on the track.

We can pick you up at the Amtrak station. If starting your ride in Clinton, the closest station is Warrensburg. Contact us to arrange for a train station shuttle. The Warrensburg shuttle is $40 per person, $100 minimum.
